In each set there are 6 sheets of 6 puzzles. Each pupil could have a sheet each or they could be cut into individual puzzles or strips with 2 or 3 puzzles on each strip. With similar puzzles I have actually laminated them as individual puzzles and used dry wipe pens for pupils to write answers on Answers supplied

An slightly different, but I hope interesting resource for simple addition and subtraction of numbers up to 20 using robots/number machines. EXPLANATION POWERPOINT (24 slides) Initially: 4 worksheets with answers ALL the clip art I used to make the resource for you to use. use the clip art to make your own worksheets or large scale robots for lessons or displays Please note This resource is the beginnings of an idea. It is as uploaded and as yet UNTESTED with a class. It has been designed to make basic calculations a bit more interesting and in some of the examples a little more challenging. Number patterns and sequences : 1 partridge on day one 1 partridge and 2 turtle doves on day 2 but thats 2 partridges and 2 turtle doves in total after 2 days … and 5 partridges ,8 turtle doves, 9 french hens, 8 calling birds and 5 gold rings after 5 days etc etc etc Perhaps could be used as a writing exercise in English. SEARCH-FIND-COUNT INSECTS(1) - COUNTING + ADDITION + NUMBER BONDS + ANSWERS + CLIPART Count the 11 different insects in the picture I have not tried this as I am a secondary teacher but I was trying to come up with an idea for a primary college that would make counting ‘more interesting’ . I thought that the main image may be laminated to allow pupils to use a whiteboard marker to cross off/ circle the ones they have found. A tally chart(s) also could be used. I have included all the insects I have drawn as individual clip-art so that you could use them for you own PowerPoints, Notebook files etc If it a popular/useful resource, I may make a series with different topics/themes.
